Celebration at The Riviera Country Club

The Lamesha Vine Effect, is a dance/dance fitness brand that is centered around providing you with fun and wholesome dance experiences.  The LVE, was contacted and asked to be the guest entertainment for a graduation celebration on July 29, 2018, and I accepted. The event was for two graduates;  one graduate earned her Juris Doctor from UC Hastings College Of The Law, the second received his Bachelors from UCLA in Economics and History. The celebration was held at The Riviera Country Club.  “The Riviera Country Club is an exclusive private club with a championship golf course in the western United States, located in southern California in Pacific Palisades, a community within the city limits of Los Angeles.  Riviera has also hosted three major championships: the U.S. Open in 1948, and the PGA Championship in 1983 and 1995. In addition, it was site of the U.S. Senior Open, a senior major, in 1998 and the U.S. Amateur in August 2017. The club is scheduled to host the Olympics in 2028.”

I must say it was an honor to be apart of this event.  The room was filled with approximately 250 happy faces sitting at their tables and enjoying their lunch.  There were women dressed in beautiful dresses; some wore classic afternoon lunch attire, while others wore traditional Indian inspired dresses.  The men donned suits or casual afternoon lunch attire, i.e. slacks and dress shirts.  On my way to the d.j. booth, I stopped to greet some guests with hugs and smiles. I then proceeded to the d.j. booth, went over some details with him, grabbed the mic, introduced myself to the room and I got the party started.  The music playlist played and I got everyone out of their seats and we burned up the dance floor.  The family enjoyed the top Bollywood music hits and they followed my lead as we danced to the most popular Bollywood dance moves.  We occupied the dance floor for 2-2.5 hours, with the occasional pause for selfies and group pictures.  The host and her guests had such a wonderful time, she invited me back to be the guest entertainment for her next event.  And I will definitely be there.

Hi Lamesha, I don’t see your Friday class on the Equinox schedule for November. Will you be teaching that class? Thanks.
