Working out and eating right go hand in hand for a healthy lifestyle. A busy life can lead to unhealthy eating habits and unwanted pounds. In order to combat the bulge try eating foods that supply a little more nutrients. I know as kids we hated those pesky green vegetables but our parents convinced us that if we eat our spinach; we can grow up to be big and strong like Popeye. I don’t know about you but I would have rather eaten Popeye’s Chicken. We all like to indulge in the fatty, fast, fried foods but too much could lead to high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obesity, heart disease and more. Some people seem to think just because you workout you do not need to eat healthy. If only that were true. Your body still need lots of water, fiber, fruits, and protein. Eating healthy does not have to be complicated. Get some simple key ingredients and you can have a delicious and nutritious meal in no time. My favorite go to quick healthy meal is broccoli and chicken. Garlic or lemon chicken with no skin and fresh broccoli with a bed of rice. You can always add some ripe tomatoes with basil.

A new recipe I discovered was a grilled chicken broccoli wrap. With these simple and quick healthy recipes it leaves no excuses.

The effects of eating healthy leads to a healthy heart, weight lose and improve energy levels.
